August/September 2002

It is not only on the footpath mentioned in the July Marlpit that dogs are fouling the footpaths, but on other footpaths within the village. I regularly use the paths along Rectory Road, and Wroxham/Church Road to the post office, the Garage fish & chip shop, etc. and am disgusted with the increasing amount of dog matter that is on all of these paths, to the point when we have had a hot day that the smell emanating from these deposits is most unpleasant. We have gone through the process of getting a good new surface to walk on, and now it is an obstacle course to avoid getting filthy.

BUT this is not the only form of pollution being inflicted on us, we are subject to an increasing volume of noise and disturbance from dogs being left outside their homes all day, and barking and yapping just for the hell of it.

Please owners of dogs, look after your pets and curtail the nuisance from both ends of the animals, what is your pleasure can become other peoples hell.
