Ladies Fellowship will recommence in September following
the summer break and will be on Monday, 23rd at 8pm

our meetings or you used to attend you would be especially
welcome to come along and share with us. Our meetings
are very friendly and informal and are open to any
lady - you do not have to belong to the Salvation
Army to attend. (Tel: Sue Blackburn - 737495 for more
information).
September is the month for our Annual Appeal and
we will be collecting door to door in the villages
and surrounding areas to raise funds to finance the
work of The Salvation Army in Great Britain. There
is a tremendous amount of Social and Community Work
that is run by the Salvation Army including soup runs,
eventide homes, drug rehabilitation centres, homeless
and drop in centres, day centres for the elderly and
disabled, hostels, children's homes, mobile canteens,
disaster aid. If you are able to help in collecting
please contact Daphne Blake Tel: 736774.
Please give generously when someone knocks on your
door - the work of The Salvation Army in this country
could not continue without your support and your donation
will help in changing the lives of those in need.
We have a motto of 'where there's a need there's the
Salvation Army' - we cannot do it without your help.
Please Note - our Christmas Fayre will be on Saturday,
16th November from 11am - 2pm.
