The Silent Tribute and Exhortation at our Annual General Meeting were led by our Chairman, Mr Bob Jennings whose annual report is printed below.

Our Treasurer, Capt. H B Moore, presented the annual accounts and was thanked for his work during the year. Thanks were also expressed to Mr Alan Mallett for auditing the accounts.

Visits and gifts have been made to our adopted residents in Halsey House, Cromer and to housebound and sick members by our Welfare Secretary, Mrs Margaret Montgomery, and thanks were recorded for her services. If you are ex-Service, and feel that she could help you please ring 737568.

Officers elected were:- President, Mr J Campbell; Chairman, Mr R Jennings; Vice-Chairman, Mr C E J Smith; Hon. Treasurer Capt. H B Moore; Hon. Secretary, Mr B Jordan, Jun.; Standard Bearer, Mr. E Watts.

The need for funds was again discussed and we would welcome any friend of the Legion who (without becoming a member) would be kind enough to help with arranging and running of any fund raising event.
