The Two Villages Arts and Craft Fair was held in the Tithe Barn, Horstead on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th November. Many people worked very hard in preparing for the event and in helping out on the two days. The Craft stallholders had been busy for months making a wide variety of goods to sell. The Artists had been equally industrious and we were pleased to see a great variety of pictures and photographs for sale.

The teams of ladies from Coltishall Church Rooms and from the WI served refreshments all weekend and the array of cakes, sandwiches, gateaux and biscuits they produced were just wonderful.

The event raised £494.95, after deduction of expenses. This will be distributed between local community associations shortly. An announcement about the division of the proceeds will be made in the next Marlpit. The ladies from the Church Rooms and the WI were also able to raise goodly amounts for their own funds by running the refreshments. The editors would like to thank everybody who helped, all the exhibitors and stallholders and especially all the people who turned out to support the event. Thank you.
