The November meeting was held at the home of the President, Mrs Childs, on Wednesday, 13th November. The Exhortation and Silent Tribute was led by Mrs Childs.

Concern was expressed about the falling numbers attending the service at the Memorial on Armistice Day. No motorists were seen to stop for the Two Minutes Silence. What is two minutes out of anybody's live to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Ballot papers were completed for the County Chairman and Eastern Area representative.

A conference will be held at Bournemouth, 7th - 10th April 2003.

The County Conference is at St Andrews on Wednesday, 27th November. The appeal 'Going for Gold' will be for the 16 Women's Section Benevolent Fund and prizes are to be presented at the Conference.

A Christmas Concert will be held on Saturday, 7th December at 16 British Legion Centre in Aylsham Road and four members will attend.

The next meeting will be at the Church Rooms on Wednesday, 4th December, a week earlier than usual. Invitations have been sent to the Men's Section and all members are invited to attend our Carol Service.

 

 

 

There will be no meeting in January and the February meeting will be he's at Mrs Coleman's on the Wednesday, 12th February 2003.

The next Group meeting will be held at Mundesley on Monday, 2nd December.
