This year as usual there are several opportunities to prepare for and celebrate Christmas in our three Churches.

Our preparation begins with a Grand Carol Service followed by seasonal refreshments on Sunday 22nd December at 6.30 pm at All Saints, Horstead when we will hear the Christmas story, enjoy singing our Carols and be introduced to scripture and poetry and perhaps a little drama. This Service is for all ages, while we are hoping that the very young will come to Holy Trinity Great Hautbois at 3.30 pm on Christmas Eve for Carols round the Crib.

Our Service of Holy Communion on Christmas Eve is at 11.30 pm at St John the Baptist, Coltishall and 10 am at All Saints, Horstead on Christmas morning.

We hope sincerely that you will take a break from domestic preparations, bring your visitors with you and make a festive finale to what has been an especially happy year of Christian witness in our villages.

One last important detail, our popular Christingle Service will be on Sunday, 2nd February, 3 pm at All Saints Horstead with candles for Candlemas. More details later.
