The Annual Toy Service will again be held in Buxton Church on the first Friday of December - the 6th - at 6pm. This is our chance to think about the needs of others and to do our little bit towards 'lifting' Christmas for those who might otherwise have no presents at all. Believe it or not, even here in Norfolk there are a lot of children who are in this situation. The service itself has developed into something rather lovely with an Advent/pre-Christmas feel to it.

If you have not been before, then the principle is very simple. Please come with your family and bring with you a gift - or even better gifts - in good condition or new. Your gift will be received during the service and passed on for distribution to those children who would otherwise not get a Christmas present. Your gifts should not be wrapped and should be in first class condition. The usual message to our children is that it should hurt to give their gift away!
