Jubilee Oak, Mill Road Corner - A parishioner has very kindly made and donated a tree surround for the Oak Tree, which was planted to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of King George V on
6th May 1935, for which we offer our grateful thanks. A suitable plaque will be purchased shortly.

Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Celebrations - Horstead Parish Council are forming a committee to discuss possible ideas to celebrate the Golden Jubilee. Anyone with ideas or suggestions please contact the clerk either in writing or on the number below.

Retirement of Councillor Christine Benton - It is with regret that the Parish Council announce the retirement of Mrs Benton, and would like to thank her for her work and dedication during her term of office.

Recycling of Yellow Pages - New editions of yellow pages will be issued in February and Broadland District Council are hoping to exceed the number collected for recycling when the last new issues were distributed. A collection bin will be placed on the Tithe Barn car park. If you are unable to take your old edition to the collection bin please contact the Clerk or any Parish Councillor who will arrange for the collection to be made.
