Parish Council Meeting 12th June 2002

Jubilee Celebration: Monday, 3rd June 2002: Approximately 50-60 attended the Jubilee Picnic and Tree Planting Ceremony, many of them climbing All Saints church tower for a view over the village, and from the feedback received since, everyone had an enjoyable time.

The tree was planted by Mrs J McMillen, who also presented the mugs after lunch, to those children present. A few are still to be claimed.

The Parish Council would like to express their thanks to all who helped with the preparations and also on the day.

Mobile Police Office: This will again be in attendance on Thursday, 18th July 2002 in the Rectory Road lay-by.

Next Monthly Meeting - Wednesday, 10th July in the Tithe Barn.
