Tuesday, 20th May 2003 was a sad day for the people of Coltishall and Horstead. A day that will be etched in out minds forever. The day we lost the London Tavern.

As Mr Stephen Fuller has said many times, thank God nobody was seriously hurt or killed.

This pub was a working man’s ‘watering hole’. The likes of Denny (and Jet), Gas Mark, Nobby, Simon, Spider, Bill, Totty and Joe, just to mention a few, will all miss this lovely old pub dearly.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Stephen for keeping the pub open for the locals despite competition from all the other pubs.

Finally thanks to Bob, the barman, for his loyalty to us locals.
