50/50 Auction – Sunday 1st June in Hoveton Village Hall, Martyn Fox of Keys Auctioneers will sell all lots, proceeds will go to any one of many local Charities the Club supports. If you have a saleable item it can be brought to the Village Hall up to 11 am on the day, viewing is from 12 noon, the Sale Starts at 1 pm.

Diabetes UK – Lions raise funds nationwide for this worthwhile cause. I am taking a Walk in the Park on Sunday 15th June, 4 miles round Sandringham Park - sponsors would be appreciated or if you would like a sponsorship form please give me a ring. The venue is by kind permission of Her Majesty the Queen, another supporter of Lions.

We need your Bra’s - For all bra’s given to us this month will result in £1 to charity, if your club or school gets together and collects more than 50 we will give your charity 50p and the other 50p to Breast Cancer Care – Your support is needed!! Ring for details.

New man at the top – On 24th June Lion Mike Barker takes over as President for the second time. Lion Mike was a Charter member of our club formed in 1976. He was in the chair 17 years ago. We all wish him well for another year of: Ordinary People Doing Amazing Things.

Wendy Holmes of Hoveton won the Lions Shop draw - £100 will be sent to the Mundesley Inshore Life Boat (An independent Community Funded Lifeboat). Thank you all for the donations of all manner of saleable things!
