Having been associated with the Good Companion Club for many years, I am sorry to hear that the club meetings have now ceased.

I am sure the remaining members of the club would like to thank Mr Bradbury who, over the years, has given his time and petrol very generously to transport members to the Village Hall who would have not been able to attend without his assistance.

We should also thank the officers of the club who have managed to keep it running for so long.

Best wishes to all the members - may they always be good companions.
