• Pump House Culvert, Coltishall - Reconstruction •

March 2003

Mott MacDonald is working in partnership with the Director of Planning and Transportation, Norfolk County Council on the above scheme. The works are proposed to take place starting Monday, 3rd March 2003 and complete on or before 24th April 2003. The works comprise the excavation and installation of a new culvert under the B1354 (Wroxham Road) in Coltishall adjacent to the Kings Head and Rising Sun public houses.

To carry out the works it will be necessary to manage traffic for the full duration of the construction works. This traffic management will take the form of one way lights and a 20 mph speed limit for the majority of the works with a full closure limited to two weeks which will prevent traffic from using the B1354 over the culvert. The road closure will be removed from the works before the Easter period. The diversion route is via the Al151, the A1142 and the B1150.

If you have any comments relating to the scheme please do not hesitate to contact Mr Tim French on 01603 767530.
