Well done Coltishall Cricket Club.

They are celebrating a £5,000 grant from the National Lottery Awards. The approved project includes two outdoor wickets housed by a two-bay frame and netting, together with a bowling machine.

Club Captain Mark Scott says this will offer unrivalled facilities to existing members and the surrounding community. Mark is hopeful that, together with help from the ECB's regional cricket development officer, this will forge an association with local schools that will help develop youth cricket in this area.

Work is scheduled to start in the spring, so that the facilities are in place for pre-season training.
