March 2003

February already, doesn't time fly when you are having fun? Well, I am not too sure, it seems to fly when you are facing something that makes you extremely nervous too. Yes it is here already, next week is pantomime week! Good Heavens, I hear you cry, doesn't time fly, yes, yes I have already done that once.

Rehearsals are in full swing, we even had an extra one this week! And on Friday night the stage will be put up by a little band of elves, sorry, I am so far into pantomime mode its coming out in everyday life! Apologies, yes the stage will be put up (thanks to those hard working people, you know who you are) and on Saturday there will be the first rehearsal on stage! I can almost hear the screams of terror and fear, and that is without looking up Queen Guinevere's skirt. Rehearsals are going really well and even King Arthur is managing to put his script down occasionally, but you can guarantee that will all change on Saturday.

No I am probably being very unfair. I am only speaking from experience because the last time I was on the stage, rehearsals were going really well, until I went on stage, then what a disaster. But that is not going to happen with the pantomime. Oh yes it is, oh not it isn't, oh, sorry, its happening again, I need a break! I am really looking forward to 'watching' the audience and I do hope you enjoyed it.

We shall be having a short break before we start upon our next project. Obviously we haven't decided what that will be yet, because we are rather busy at the moment, as you can imagine. So I am writing this with a feeling of being in limbo. Haven't quite finished the current project, not sure what the next one is going to be. Hang on a moment, that is quite normal for me!

Watch this space for forthcoming events and please don't hesitate to contact me at any time if you wish to join the Players or have any queries.

I sincerely hope you enjoyed the pantomime and will come back to see our next productions.
