Hello!

The Friends of Coltishall Primary School would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves, and give you an idea of some of the things we do for the School.

"The Friends" are made up of an annually elected group of parents and staff, with Mr. Jones, the Head Teacher as President, and are backed by volunteers who help at special events throughout the year. The aims of "The Friends" are to "Advance the education of the pupils of the School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the School" (not normally provided for by the Local Education Authority)

Various fund raising events are held throughout the year, past events have included, Spring and Christmas Fairs, Quiz Nights, Sale of Calendars and Tea Towels, Discos and a Craft Workshop. Since last Summer almost £2,400 has been raised. The money raised in the past has been used to purchase computer tables for the classrooms, a shaded area in the playground and most recently white boards for the classrooms. Looking to future projects, we would very much like to provide a "trim track" for the playing field.
