After a successful 2002 we are now into the planning for the rest of this year. However, despite providing the many facilities to the two surgeries for the benefit of ALL of us, we would still like to welcome more people to join The Friends. Please give it a bit of thought and then convert the thoughts to actions by helping us to help YOU - it will not take up much of your time (and can be quite enjoyable) but the ultimate benefits will probably last for years. YOUR thought and action could even save a life!

Some future events are:

Friday, 9th May 2003. A talk and slide presentation on local ‘Walks’. This will be presented by the well-known couple Joy and Charles Boldero and is to be held in the Church Room, Coltishall at 7.30pm. Tickets are available at the door for £2.50 so ‘first come – first served’ is the order of the day! Tea/coffee biscuits will be available and a raffle will be held. This should prove to be a very interesting and informative evening.

Sunday, 11th May 2003. The Classic Car and Motorcycle Club will be holding a rally at the Skeyton Goat and all the proceeds from this event will be kindly donated to the Friends of Coltishall and Spixworth Surgeries. Please be there and enjoy the sights and sounds of these wonderful machines.

Saturday, 7th June 2003. We will be participating in the Coltishall and Horstead Church Fete which this year is being held in Horstead. This is usually a good and entertaining afternoon out.

If there is anything else that YOU would like to see, do or get involved in please, please let us know and we’ll see if it can be arranged.

From the more recent money to hand, collected from your generosity, we are proposing to purchase the following: two Phlebotomy Chairs.
