50/50 Auction

On Sunday, 1st June our club holds its annual Auction in Hoveton Village Hall where items donated in total or half the sale value are auctioned by Martyn Fox of Keys Auctioneers. All proceeds will go to any one of many local Charities that the Club supports. If you have a saleable item and would like it to be entered, we can collect during May. Items can be brought to the Village Hall up to 11 am on the day, viewing is from 12 noon. The Sale Starts at 1 pm.

We need cycles, lawn mowers, tools, electrical goods, paintings, furniture, musical instruments, crockery, bric-a-brac, etc, not jumble - we do reserve the option to refuse items we know from experience will not sell. Padded furniture must have a current fire retardant warning label. All entries are sold without reserve. To enter an item please contact the telephone numbers below, and a collection will be arranged – if you require 50% of the sale value we give you a receipt ensuring we have your address to send your half. We do however make a condition that items donated for 50% must sell for more than £5.00.

Please support us – last year the proceeds raised enough to fly the Air Ambulance for a day!!

Mrs Claridge won the Lions Shop draw - £100 will be sent to the Norwich Pregnancy Crisis Centre. Thank you all for the donations of all manner of saleable things!
