• News From The Post Office •
May 2003

A few weeks ago we had a visit from the children of the Coltishall Play Group. During the visit the children helped buy some stamps and posted a letter to themselves. They were also able to have a look in the sorting office and check out the posties bikes.

I’m writing this in the middle of the Easter holidays and with the fine weather we've had a very busy week. In the Post Office we are starting to see a few applications for the new Card Accounts, so if you do receive a letter about paying benefits into a bank account and you would like to go on receiving cash at the Post Office, please come and talk to us about the different options.

Finally I have a vacancy for a morning news delivery person for Glebe Way, Horstead. You need to be over 13, but it may also suit a fit retired person. If you are interested please give me a call on 737277. Also if you are 13 or coming up to 13 and would like to be considered for a round in the future, please let me know.
