A busy and varied field of activities has been covered recently ranging from our monthly lunches to a most enjoyable 'End of Show' on Cromer Pier. We have officially been closed during August but have nevertheless been involved in two Summer garden parties, five visits from or to other W.I.s and a group trip on the River Deben. Outside group visits are already being planned for the coming year and we have a full programme of interesting Speakers each month.

Our 79th W.I. Birthday will soon be celebrated, followed by the AGM and Christmas celebrations, not least of which is our stall at St Andrew's, Norwich, for the Christmas Fair. Community involvement outside the W.I. scope has involved members in responding to requests for sewing Nursery School bags, holding Macmillan Coffee Mornings, Flower Festival workers and many other undeclared much needed activities.

We meet each third Wednesday at 7.30 pm in the Church Room, Rectory Road Coltishall and hope you will call in - member or visitor.
