A Flower Festival - held on 5th and 6th of October at St John The Baptist Church. Our arrangers produced such a host of remarkably colourful displays at 23 locations all around our church that it truly was a wonderful sight, well worth seeing. The interpretation of the theme of Countries of the World was amazingly presented in flowers, fruit, heirlooms etc, all brought together in an explosion of co-ordinated colour. This is not news for all of the hundreds of people who did visit of course but just to let whose who didn't know what they missed!

Many, many thanks go to the arrangers and all others who helped in so many ways without whom the Festival would not have been possible. Thanks also to those who donated gifts and fruit and vegetables from their harvest field.

A sum of nearly £1,300.00 was raised. Again, many thanks to all who contributed in any way to this event. Splendid. Wonderful.
