August concluded with one more great day out to Buckingham Palace . The ladies and their husbands enjoyed a super lunch, memorable tour of the palace and a sight-seeing trip on the way home,

Three members exhibited some of their paintings at the Art Show which was very commendable.

Our speaker for the evening then took the ladies back down memory lane with some wonderful images from the broads between 1880's and 1890's. The black and white photos were taken from books produced during the 1920's and showed the life and industry that the broads supported, before the advent of the railways. There was a lot of nostalgia floating around. a most enjoyable evening.

The next meeting is on Wednesday 19 th November which will be the AGM. Please come along and support your very hard working committee and thank them for a very successful year.
