| On behalf of my children, I would like to thank everyone involved in starting the new Coltishall Youth Club. This has been an inspirational tonic to our village youngsters. Can anyone remember being fifteen and needing a safe place to socialise? Or has being adult made us think only of ourselves? We have tennis courts, cricket fields and the bowls club etc., but what about our teenagers? People often complain about youngsters on street corners or anywhere near their back yards. So what can we do? Wave a magic wand and make them disappear perhaps?
Or help them to help themselves by providing somewhere or some activity specifically for them? After all, these children are the future; isn't it worth a little bit of effort? The Youth Club is a fantastic start, so let's do more for the future generations of our village.
