October 2003

October and the night's are pulling in, but we won't even think about that yet. We have had such a lovely Spring and Summer this year and hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.

First and foremost we had visitors ringing from Rougham, Bury St Edmunds on Thursday, 31st July, namely Mandy Shedden and party, and I received a very nice letter saying many thanks for allowing them to ring our lovely bells.

We do love a wedding in Coltishall, and we were all delighted to ring for Rebecca Jordan and Mathew Purling on Saturday, 2nd August. We have never seen so many beautiful flowers in the church and many thanks to those concerned for leaving them for the Sunday morning service so that the congregation could enjoy them as well. As always we wish them much happiness in their future life together.

We had yet more visitors ringing, this time from Horham, Eye Suffolk, a Mrs Wilkinson and party on Saturday, 27th September. I hope you enjoyed listening to them ring.

The last wedding of the year for us at Coltishall was between Helen Louise Morris and David John Rounce. We all enjoyed listening to the real favourites being sung, "Morning Has Broken" and "Love Divine All Loves Excelling" and we hope they have many happy years together.
