Mr and Mrs Andrew Buxton made their beautiful gardens at Hoveton Hall available for a Charity Garden Evening organised by the Rotary Club of Broadlands on the evening of Friday 11th July 2003. It was a lovely sunny evening and the crowds flocked through the gates to enjoy the wonderful setting.

Entertainment was from “Just Jazz”, a Good Time Jazz Band that really set the crowds alight.

The Hog Roast, strawberries and cream and Real Ale bar just lasted long enough to give people the energy to wander round the beautiful gardens and lake as the sun set.

The main beneficiaries of the evening were the Norfolk and Norwich Association for the Blind, the Motor Neurone Disease Association and other Rotary Charities.

Many thanks to all who attended who helped raise £2300 for the above charities.
